Covenant House shelters kids 16-21 who are homeless. Most young people who come to Covenant House have run away from long-term abuse, been kicked out by their parents, or aged out of the foster care system. Covenant House offers them immediate shelter, health care, counseling and then a continuum of care designed to help them build a successful adult life. We offer job skills/placement, GED-prep, on-site daycare for teenage mothers who need to work or go to school, and caring guidance to launch them into independent lives much like parents do for older children.
