In Defense of Drawing Muhammad

Being offended by every cartoon of Muhammad is stupid. And even if you are offended, this does not justify a violent response. Also, being religious does not make your beliefs deserving of respect, it does not require everyone else to refrain from criticizing your beliefs, and it does not automatically exempt you from the expectation of rational thought or free you from responsibility for your actions.

@Xxmimicwolfxx If Islam was the religion of peace as Muslims claim it to be, do you think there would be this "draw Muhammed" campaign? However, when Muslims fly planes into buildings, behead "infidels", etc. and still demand unmitigated respect, which is more insulting? Drawing Muhammed pales in comparison, yet it is done to make a valid point. The point being that civic people refuse to respect this "religion of peace" until it is truly peaceful and civil.
