Me and my brother were in HMV as he wanted to get 1 & 2 DVD box set, then we saw they had number 1 on Blu-Ray showing and it looks a-maz-ing, so he went back and got it on Blu instead. Extra £4 I think it was.

One more thing, Is there a difference between watching a Blu-Ray and Watching A DVD on and HD Ready TV or Just the features of it?

Cool I will wait for Christmas For the Toy Story Trilogy on DVD not Blu-Ray. Here in the Philippines The Cost of the DVD Special Edition of Toy Story & Toy Story 2 cost PHP 750 pesos each, while the the Blu-ray cost PHP 1500 Pesos each.

do you actually notice much of a difference between toy story on dvd and toy story on bluray? my preconcieved idea is that its only worth getting bluray on the new movie releases because it's filmed FOR hi-def. Is that right or is there a difference in the reformatted 'old' movies?
anyone answer :)

Christ, you sound awkward doing this

@Riddler95 I still have VHS and i think the quality of DVD and VHS isnt really that much different (depends on quality of tape) but i seen blu ray and tbh i wudnt waste ur money pal

does the blu ray version from UK have the exact same features as the one released in the US? Im planning on buying the special edition combo for both 1 and 2, but don't know if they have everything that is contained in the USA released disk. Please reply back! thanks ^^

i cant wait for the Toy story box set that has 1,2, and 3 on blu ray!
What country are you in? I ask because I just picked up Toy Story 1 and 2 on blu-ray at my local Target and they don't have the blue border around the boxes. I also like your disc flap, mine(the US version) has a disc on both sides of the open case.

UK. I think it just varies from country to country. Like with my Wall E blu ray, they did not release a slip cover for it over here as it was only available in the States, so I had no choice but to buy the standard blu ray box/cover.

Is it worth the upgrade in terms of Picture/Sound quality?
I've already got the 10th Anniversary Edition 2-Disc DVD of Toy Story, and the Special Edition 2-Disc DVD of Toy Story 2.

But then you think to yourself, is it worth buying blu ray movies now as they're probably going to release Blu Ray 3D discs soon too? if your like me, and want a collection of animated movies then i think its worth adding to the collection. Sometimes i think its a waste of money and then i think but its HI DEF and what if it ends up being rare, lol.. the slip cover version will probably be rare at one point though for sure as theyll stop making it, just like lion king on dvd in the past
