Just for the record, the yelling and screaming is from the band staff on top of the press box cheering for our kids. Gotta train the parents to applaud at the right time.

Band parents really need to...well..shut their traps in all honesty. I'm in my junior year of high school and I've been in the band and marching band since freshman year and we appreciate competitions for the sheer fact that people be quiet. No offence thats just rude of the parents. They of all people should know better. But other then that absolutely amazing. My band's actually doing this show this year. We're trying to write in a fight scene(:

@woodstock767 Afterwards when walking off the field it's perfectly fine, but during the performance no. I'd rather it be silence because 1. the judges need to be able to hear the band without screaming and 2. its a distraction to the band. The parents should know to respect their own kids.

Wow. This tempo is way rushed. I'm drum major this year for my band, and I conduct The Opener and Maria/Cool (first two songs) and the tempo is NEVER that fast. Even when we listen to recordings of the publishing company that made it, never that fast. Maybe the Jet song would be, but no. And the band could sound better overall for being such a small size. :\ I give you props, though! You sound full.
