Alfa Romeo unveiled the 8C Competizione Spider at the Geneva Motor Show (March 6-16). The sports car is equipped with the new 4.7 litre 8 cylinder delivering a top power of 450bhp at 7,000rpm, with a peak torque of 480Nm at 4750rpm and a maximum engine speed of 7,500rpm. This engine has been mated to a self-shifting 6-speed gearshift with computerised gear selection via levers behind the steering-wheel, and a self-blocking differential unit. The hooded top of the two seat vehicle is fitted with electro-hydraulic automatic control. Initially, 500 models of the 8C Competizione Spider will be produced, going to the USA, Italy, Germany and Japan.

an Alfa Romeo is not about how fast it can go around corners or how fast it can get from 0-60, it never was and it never will. Yes Z06 is really fast, and really cheap, but u just can compare it to an AF.

AR have soul and passion something American cars dont have, just look at its ex and interior, gorgeous. The most luxurious American car can even compete with the cheapest AF, in face, I don't think any American cars are "luxurious".

needless to say Z06 is completely equiped with plastic interior as every car from there xD

you just can see how pretty Alfa is, if you look at other European sports cars: You will find at least ONE typical Alfa aspect on most of them... Z8 at the front for example.

Alfa is the girl you ask out for a dinner to look at her, not to have a conversation about astrophysics.

Nevermind either the GTR or ZO6, this alfa is in a completely different league and to quote JC: "Easily the prettiest car ever made and I'm nursing a semi just looking at it".
