Me breaking the official world record for solving multiple Rubik's cubes blindfolded - 17 for 17 in 53 minutes 8.93 seconds.
What the heck is going on:
I provide the competition organizers with 17 cubes of my own. They scramble all the cubes using 17 different random scrambles generated by a computer. This process is hidden from me. No one except the computer and the person scrambling the cubes knows what the scrambles are.
My goal is to memorize the configuration of every cube, blindfold myself, then solve them all, during which I never remove the blindfold. For this attempt, I spent about 30 minutes memorizing the cubes and the remaining 20 minutes solving them blindfolded.
The envelope in front of my chest is there as an anti-cheating precaution so that I can't peek through whatever gap there may be between the blindfold and my face.
