@hopebrady1983 lol it was? So happy I missed that trend I wore bigass earings but I always wore 2. Regardless she was/is STUNNING 1 earing or not..but still distracting lol...reminds of the time Bo was kissing her ear and came up with an earing and spat it out...lol LOVE THEM

Everyone wore bigass earings in the 80's I had a trillion of them it was the style back then to wear one bigass earing in one ear.(lol)

why couldnt bo have fought for hope like this in 2010?!?! then maybe hope would not be in jail, bo would not be with carly, and bo and hope would still be happy together!!! ugh. i wish i would have watched the show back then when writing was amazing and my favorite couple was together and happy!!!

Anderson was a huge and rare talent, but when she brought Racina and Laiman over from GH (where they ALL had created iconic soap with the Luke and Laura era) all three writers developed and wrote the best soap Days ever produced. Alone, Laiman was able to expand on that momentum and create a show that had even more depth to it when Anderson and Racina left. So, no, Anderson was not the Almighty Creator of the Supercouples. All three writers had started it at GH and honed the formula at Days.

She was Days' Co-Headwriter with Sheri Anderson and Thom Racina from 1984-1986. All three were head writing the show until '86 when Racina and Anderson left and she became sole Head Writer until the end of the writer's strike in '89. Anderson was never the sole Head Writer of the show in the 80's; only very briefly in '92--She always had a co-head writer.

Soaps were so fantastically written in the 1980s that I almost feel guilty taking it for granted. Of course being a teen at the time you just figured as you got older the great writing would still be there. Now in 2010, Im grateful that there are fans that taped all of the best years during the 1980s and have uploaded them on youtube. With the state of soaps now, I imagine this will be all we have left in a few years.
