A Socio-Psychological Study: Part 5
The media influences millions of people, entire generations and societies, often from birth. Messages sink into our minds and when they are repeated systematically, can have a massive impact on our beliefs, behavior and lives. We need to make sure we are conscious of what ideas are slipping into our subconscious minds and make sure that any messages we ourselves spread (be it through music or videos etc.) don't repeat the same racial patterns.
This video study looks at justifications given by people trying to justify the racial imaging of females in the media and shows these justifications are in fact based on false ideas, misconceptions and a lack of comprehensive understanding about the way the human mind works.
* Video 1: INTRODUCTION
* Videos 2 - 9: JUSTIFICATIONS: The justifications some people make for bias in the media today
* Videos 9 - 11: ANALYSIS: An analysis of the impacts this has on our minds and society
* Video 12: IDEAS for the future
The aim of the video is to create a happier, more harmonious, more integrated and more cohesive community for all living in the West and the rest of the world.
ABBREVIATED SPOKEN TEXT OF THIS VIDEO:
7: "It's because blonde women are more confident and outgoing"
It's called the psychology of favouritism and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy:
The more support you get, the more confident you feel.
The more confident you feel, the more confident you act.
The more confident you act the more men react to you.
The more men react to you, the more sexually attractive you feel.
The more sexually attractive you feel, the more sexually attractive you act.
The more sexually attractive you act, the more people notice your sexuality.
The more people notice your sexuality, the more it strengthens opinions that you are a sexual being.
The more people who hold these opinions, means more people are likely to accept it as a fact.
The more you feel secure in your attractiveness, the more confident and happy you feel with yourself.
Blonde people are stereotyped as happy and confident and positive, so feel more able to act this way. Brunette women are stereotyped as more serious and understated. These false ideas mean that people with blonde genes are able to enjoy the important feelings of confidence and satisfaction with their appearance, more than other women.
What if a brunette doesn't want to be serious and boring??!! What if she wants to be an extravagant and sexual as a female? How can this woman feel free? This is nothing like normality, and nothing like freedom. This is Nazi-style emotional abuse.
8: "It's ok because people also say that blonde women are stupid"
How does that make anything ok? Only people who are jealous try to put others down. You are forcing brunette and other women to be haters and losers at the same time.
9: "It's ok because blonde women are called as more sexually promiscuous"
Again, that is wrong and no excuse for denying the sexual freedom of other women. Human beings like to be noticed for their sexual attractiveness. It's a compliment, for men and for women, and everyone knows that.
10: "It's ok because blonde women are prettier"
My answer to that is, check your faces. The main difference that this media has created is in a woman's facial expression. Women who feel confident about the way they look have more genuine and more confident smiles and expressions on their faces. Telling someone they are not as good as someone else is depressing, and abusive. It makes people feel miserable and this reflects in their faces. Let everyone be free and feel good about themselves and see how people change.
11: "It's ok because it's just a stereotype"
You have to admit that teaching a five year old brunette child that blonde hair is more feminine is psychologically twisted. That's more than a stereotype, its plain evil! Men have to be strong and wealthy, both these things they can achieve if they try hard enough. A woman on the other hand is based on the way she looks, she is confined by her genes. Creating a rule that all women who have the blonde gene are always going to be better than other women, means you are locking up certain women in a genetic prison, forever. Stereotypes are only repeated by people who are too stupid to create an original piece of artwork.
12: "It's ok because the media is about escapism"
How are we escaping if we are repeating the same old patterns over and over again?!!
so, what makes these so called media directors pick BLONDES as their favourites? what did the first blonde do to make these guys love them? i dont understand where the love came from.

@kimbaby411 i think it started when social media was originating, and the change from black and white media to colour, and the coincidence of marilyn monroe, who was a celebrity icon.. she gave the impression that the dominant and successful women had bleached hair. thoughtless humans simply repeat what they see, without creating something new. america was also going through a signicaint racial period. hence it has become knitted into the social fabric though many means. what r ur thoughts??!:)
