This is part one of a short documentary film directed by Liu Chang and Junior through the global exchange program between the Communications University Of China and the University Of Southern California School Of cinematic Arts.

The video was created in three weeks of a six week program and shot in Los Angeles, the barrios of West LA, East LA, Watts, South Central

No conquest and colonization by Eurocentric nations into Native land brought barbaric into the so-called Americas. These are just the shattered descendants, living in barrios throughout the Southwest, trying to pick up the pieces. Don't get it twisted look at where all the real violence started.

We do have our problems in our communities but we are working on it. And we need to work from within without passing judgement.

I would agree that gang violence is a huge plague on society. However there are a lot of other factors at play than the homies getting out of hand. I think we need to seriously start working on things but from the attitude of "not passing judgement" on those caught up in this nonsense. Evaluate yes but we can't just say they're a bunch of barbarians. if anything needs to be evaluated, it's this countries advancement and civilized judgement!
