Knife Review: Carbinox by Marttiini of Finland

My review of a light outdoor utility knife from Finland. The Carbinox is named for the high carbon steel of its blade. It features a 3.3 inch blade with a traditional Scandinavian grind, it is razor sharp for slicing and skinning. The aluminum handle with rubber overmold provides a very secure grip. Also shown is the Marttiini 571, which has a similar blade but a less costly plastic handle. Both are highly recommended.

Marttiini is like Buck knives of Finland every one knows them here, and whats great abougth finnish puukkos is that you get the best quality for decent price, exelent review

I got a Martiini knife with a 3" carbinox blade. I've even put it into the dishwasher a couple of times, it doesn't rust considerably but still holds the edge well. A very nice cross between stainless and carbon steel.
