Obviously he's got older, this was 26 yrs ago. ( I was there)
I think Cov has a remarkable voice and he can still hit the notes and he's a Yorkshireman.

didnt say hes not one of the best singers...just said that i miss that deep blues voice...hes more hardcore these days dont want anybody to think am saying hes not one of the best and to be honest imho he is THE BEST!!!

Coverdale's voice has got better with age. The man is one of the best male vocal singers around today. How can you say he is too old? He's 57, Status Quo are in their 60's and touring pulling in the crowds same as Coverdale so there for he is not to old. Some people.

you know it's ironic... The Burn and Stormbringer albums failed commercially with Deep Purple... but when Coverdale decides to sing them 10 years they gain huge popularity. This is probably due to Whitesnakes populariy.

I'd hardly call having an album go to #1 in several countries, top ten near on everywhere else a failure! Coverdale and Hughes revitalised DP at a time when they very nearly imploded.
