TwinStar II with Brushless, Flaps, and Landing Gear Mods

This is flight video of the TwinStar II on a nice Spring day in Minnesota! This model has been modified with dual brushless eMax 1200kv motors, 3-blade prop, landing gear and steerable nose wheel, flaps and spoilerons. I wanted to demonstrate the slow-flying characteristics with flaps and spoilersons deployed. The video also showcases the TwinStar's ability to take-off and land on a grass runway.

Yes yes... paint would be a good thing!  I finished building and was too excited to fly it that I've put off painting it. Hopefully this Winter I'll get around to it.

Your mods are really cool on this Twin-Star. I especially like your "bottle bottom" engine cowlings...Combined with the 3-blades, they just looks so scale. Did you find the plane in the USA or did you have to get it from a China supplier? Would love to see more vids of this model! Five stars.
