@Ronin81k I have no idea where you get that info from but America is the butt of many jokes because as an industrialized nation we are so far behind the rest of the World. We are currently 27th and you should have a look at some of the countries who are ahead of us. Third World countries who don't have a third of our annual usaw budget who cannot afford drugs. We are WAY BEHIND.

Kendrick Farris is probably our best lifter pound for pound. I saw a vid of him cleaning 215kg or so. Very impressive lifters all of them considering weightlifting isn't a very popular sport here.
-
DAMN! USA has some good lifters. All the other people dissing our squad are bums because I guaruntee these cats are pushing more weight than you YouTubers are so stop hating. Get in the gym son.
-
Have any other lame excuses? Maybe we suck at olymic lifting because we are a culture that would rather watch gay men in underwear at bodybuilding events than badass motherfuckers put up 400 pounds over their heads.
-
its been almost 80 years since the US dominated every aspect of weightlifting
thats sad. but now people like kendrick farris ,chad vaughn, and melanie roach are making big strides to recover what we lost
-
its because every other country glorifies weightlifting, we glorify football and basketball. and mcdonalds.
-
lol why is that anyawy? I doubt it's a lack of strength.
-
if you would pay attention the rest of the world is astonished that the americans can put up the kind of weight we do without anabolics. We are the most tested country in the world.
-
not all but when most mess up then thats when they're grouped
59 kg is about 130 lbs.
