  • Nope. I don't. Regarding bootlegs sets I don't think it's to big of a risk here because I've never seen anyone who's tried to forge this set. However, the round tin case is the same as it is on the american press kit so there's often a lot of confusion about what case is the right one. Also, there are other press kit tins in a simular style. Check out discjunkie-dot-se and search for "minority report" and you should find the info you need to tell them apart :)

  • BTW: If you want to hear me talk about what I went through to buy all the "pieces" for this, check out the videoresponse to this video, where I discuss the process in further detail. :P

  • No problem. :) I am well aware of the fact that most people who don't collect DVDs (with a lot of focus on packaging) have a hard time seeing what the big deal is. Due to the rarity of this the price is commonly VERY high. I bought my set in pieces (meaning I bought the attache from one place, discs from another and so on) and ended up spending around 1800 SEK (roughly 170 EUR) but if I was to sell the set complete I would probably get around three times that value within the collectors circuit.

  • I absolutely understand what your trying to say but I just have a different view of it. It's all a matter of taste. I collect movie memorabelia because I'm interested in movies, just like a guy who collects butterflies is interested in butterflies. Just because I personally don't see the attraction of butterflies it doesn't mean that I find that guy to be an idiot. I can still understand the passion of his collecting even if his focus differs from mine. Havn't you ever collected something?

  • I completely disagree. I understand that this is of zero value to YOU. But I keep this on a shelf as a trophy - this is no different than having a painting on the wall or an overly luxurious chair. I mean a regular chair would have the same possibility of sitting on but people still want the good looking chair because it gives a different atmostphere to the room. Just because an object doesn't have physical funtion to "do" something it doesn't make it useless. You realise THIS, don't you?

  • Maybe because some of us have an interest in the world of movies beyond what the average John Doe would understand. Personally I don't understand why people enjoy watching sports. I mean it's just a bunch of people competing over who can run the fastest, jump the highest etc. I'm not saying I could do it better - I just don't get the attraction. Who the hell cares if another country is better at ice-skating than my country? It's not like it will make a difference when we go to war, is it?

  • Yes I do :)

  • You know my thoughts mate!!!
