АЛЕКСАНДАР И ЈАС
Александар Македонски или Александар III Велики (Пела, Македонија, 20 јули 356 п.н.е. — Вавилон, 10 јуни 323 п.н.е.) бил крал на Античка Македонија од династијата Аргеади и владеел од 336 п.н.е. до 323 п.н.е.. Тој бил еден од најуспешните војсководци во историјата на човештвото. По освојувањето на старогрчките градови-држави под водството на неговиот татко Филип II Македонски, Александар ја покорил моќната Персиска империја, вклучувајќи ја Анадолија, Сирија, Египет, и Месопотамија, и ги проширил границите на Македонија, дури до Авганистан и Индија. Александар спрема освоените култури се однесувал со почит, интегрирајќи немакедонци во неговата војска и администрацијата, воден од мислата да создаде „светска држава".Александар III Велики е дел од историјата на поширокиот регион Македонија, па така постојат многу тврдења за тоа која држава „има право" на историјата на Античка Македонија, а со тоа и на Александар III Велики.
