Due to the way the game's Attack Mechanics work, any more Defense past that will not make the character any harder to hit, except in cases where the attackers have ToHit buffs, are six or more levels above him, or can give him -Defense debuffs.

@wylwrk Do you know what -def is :) that answers your question. Say your farming and you have 45% def :D oh snap and you get hit with -def and lethal damage. of lets say 45% hey! check it out now you have 0%def :/ and your just about good as well dead. 90% def -45% means ur still alive.
