  • That is me, Jeana... Thank you for your kind comments. Its been 5+ years now, and life is wonderful. Recovery from meth is possible, I was rescued from the pits of hell and I live today to share my story with others.

  • Just by the fact that God is so willing to intervene (only if you pray), is another testimony to me of how bad this drug really is. If your doctor is urging you to take Ritalin or Adderal, and you are an addict, pray for the strength to resist taking it ever.

  • Next month will be 16 yrs. 8 year addiction. If I kicked it si can you..

  • In one month it will be 7 years...it seems like a lifetime ago now!! I will never forget it, have no desire to forget it, but I have put it behind me!!! Never give up.....YOU CAN RECOVER FROM METH!!! God Bless, JEANA

  • It has been my experience that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. I do know, that in the case of meth - addicts do not quit using until it hurts more to use than to stop. And what is one addicts "bottom" may be a reason to use for another addict.

Congratulations on your sobriety. God bless you and what you do!

  • God bless you Jeana, keep up the good fight.

  • Less than 10% make it. Don't do it!

  • Awesome job

  • Your right, some don't want to be rescued, but there may come a day, and some kind of intervention may help them to see what they are doing to themselves & others. Never give up, it took me 17 years, I've been clean 6yrs now after being arrested 3 x's in one year.

  • TexMa, I know this is over a year old but when you said "Often times the users get so lost in their addiction that even at wits-end a family member must rescue them." it got me thinking. Why is it a family member that has to save them? What about those people that have had family step in and still keep going back to meth? Whenever I've seen family step in to help they just end up getting stolen from and lied to. Maybe I'm just a cynical but I don't think all of them want to be "rescued".
