Slapstick Club

Slapstick Club is the perfect ongoing workshop for comedians, improv artists, clowns, circus performers, and actors looking to expand their comic repertoire. In each class we'll work on trips, slips, slaps and pratfalls, running into walls and doors, slapstick with props, solo and partner acrobatics, and developing routines.

This class is taught by Joe Dieffenbacher former circus Clown & Elephant Jumper, co-founder of physical comedy troupes, the Abbotts of Unreason, Los Payasos Mendigos, and the UK-based theater company, nakupelle. Joe has taught Clown & Slapstick at the Dell'Arte School in California, Teater Studion in Stockholm, Centre Sélavy in France, the Belfast Community Circus in Northern Ireland, and ACT in San Francisco.
