2011 Lions' Club Tournament: 132A- Melikian (Fordham Prep) vs. McCrystal (CJA)

The 132A-pound finals between 2011 NYS CHSAA State Champion, Melikian and Bishop Ahr/CJA wrestler, Greg McCrystal.

A NJ region V quarterfinalist last season, McCrystal was a 25+ match winner last season for his school. Heading into this tournament, he was said to be enjoying a fine off-season.

Melikian, whose takedown with under five seconds left on the clock propelled him to the 3-2 victory to earn the title, has been absolutely lights out this off-season, adding the Lions' Club title to the Long Island Summer heat championship that he earned back in July.
