New Year's Day Ocean Plunge on the north Oregon
Coast. Took place on 11/1/2011 at 11:11am.
Air temperature was in the mid 30s and the ocean temperature was around 44 degrees. Brrrrrrrrr!

I participated the last two years and have a rep as being a bit of a cold water kamakazi but strangely enough, didn't feel like doing it this year. The fasting and the raw foods have made me less hot (I always tended to feel too hot all the time) and have balanced me but I don't feel I need the drastic energy clearings anymore. And it is a terrific way to clear your field, believe me!

It was fun to watch and film for a change...it's nice to do things differently sometimes.

  • Omg, my whole body seized up as they were all running in, hahahaha.. The sky reflected in the wet sand is just gorgeous, very surreal. Thanks for filming and sharing with us, Dawn, so! fun.
