I don't know who they're kidding. I've had autism for as long as I can remember, and I know you do not exploit people like this. I feel simply recording their normal day to day actions on camera would have been a more effective method of helping them cope than giving them a script and direction.

I think it's so sad that the little boy wants to be "off the spectrum" instead of being respected for who he is. It's heartbreaking that he wants to be able to tell bullies to leave him alone because he's not autistic, as opposed to just standing up for himself as he is.

What I like about this documentary is that it is one of the few "posautive" media coverage on autism awareness. Everything else is celebrity gossip about Jenny McCarthy and other Hollywood trash, and nazi-style propaganda by groups like Autism Speaks who portray autistics as surplus beings who simply leech off of society by not doing anything productive and by doing everything negative.
