Cello Suite No. 1 in G major, BWV 1007 (prelude)

The prelude from Johann Sebastian Bach's first Cello Suite, executed on an electric 7-string guitar (to get to that low C). No shredding this time but steady alternate picking: the perfect exercise to improve technique and continuity.

Audio recorded straight to pc, separate from video, so sync may not be perfect.

Guitar: BC-Rich 7-string Warlock P7, standard tuning (B-E-A-D-G-B-E), processed through Boss GT-10 floorboard, recorded straight to hard disk via USB

Here's a tip: start with an upstroke on the first note and continue alternating up and down for most of the piece.
