Hey man I'm very very interested in how you made the heads and the trigger platforms inside the shells. I would like to make my own from a Gretsch kit I have just collecting dust, but I will leave the shells full size and convertible back to acoustic by swapping heads and removing the triggers. My idea is a trigger platform that mounts inside on the lug bolts for 4 of the lugs, a vibration isolation material to mount the trigger plate, and to convert the existing air-hole to a 1/4" jack.

Dude.... Invest in a new rack.

Do you sometimes get sea-sickness symptoms when you play?
When you step off the platform do you have a "I just touched down with an elevator" feeling? hehe
Since the song has been disable, I can only comment on the visual...

you may be clever enough to have converted the kit, however holding it up with springs was a bit of a failure :P and also, the audio has been disabled as an extra failure :P

I can't say for sure, cause I have only tried one in the shop. But I'd say it feels absolutely the same, except I have problems getting the rims to work. Sometimes they won't respond (All my drums have rims enabled). Will have to figure it out someday

9 foam cubes and a very heavy pressboard plate on top.
