@kewlpilotdude Theres a video of a guy on YT who's showing off his supercub with snow skis and he says he has a 11.1v 2200 mah Lipo with everything else stock. The supercub lp uses a 11.1v lipo, and has the same motor as the regular super cub so it must be compatible. Oh yeah, those 2200 mah lipos go for about $10 at hobbyking. com, but it looks like all of their batteries are on backorder.

No. I use the 8 cell NiMH instead of the 7 cell NiMH that came with it. It provides more power for a longer time. Everything else is stock. I haven't tried a LiPO... yet. The voltages of LiPO's don't seem to be compatible.
Also... I cut most of the vertical members in the battery compartment. It makes the battery compartment larger so that the batteries are easier to put in and take out. That way I don't need to use a screwdriver to pry that larger battery out.
