Best Landing that i have ever seen!
The pilot didn't use the reverse mode, the sound of the wind was made by the air brakes.
Made by a pilot of TAM AIR LINES.
Airport: Belo Horizonte - Tancredo Neves (Confins) (CNF / SBCF)
Plane : Airbus A320

Melhor pouso que eu ja estive !!
O piloto nem chegou a usar o reverso.
Muito bom

  • is that a northwest airlines?

  • @TheWarfighter863 It is TAM airlines, from Brazil.

  • Are you ..by any chance ..landing in Ireland? it looks like Ireland, and Airbus A320 are usually used in Ireland i think...

  • @biebersprousegirlxx Not in Ireland my friend. This is Brazil (at Belo Horizonte -CNF / SBCF). The biggest airline company here has more than hundred A320, a lot of it here! =D

  • the alizator man returns !

  • só de paraquedassssssss!.

  • @biebersprousegirlxx DESCRIPTiiiion...

  • I don't get, I've been on planes where they land like this...also was it the pilot or computer who did the landing ?

  • Damn!!!

TAM Pilots are trained very well!!!

  • pilots could land smootly too !!! it must not be ils

  • pilot could land smootly too !!! it must not be ils

  • @uUltr19A05slaNn i doubt its ILS even f it its each differs in CAT ( catagory ) so a few hundred feet from the runway passing the threshold the autopilot disconnects, i think this was visual anways the man flying it has hundreds of flight hours under his belt i think he can pull of a nice smooth landing

  • @uUltr19A05slaNn it isn't ILS cuz im from brazil and there isnt ILS in Confins Airport, anyway, here the pilots cant use ILS before 50ft from the runway. It was visual app...

  • beautiful

  • excelente aterragem!

  • ILS? most probably doing a visual app in that weather

  • I'm from brazil (Belo Horizonte) and TAM is the best company here. It's an ILS procedure on runway 16. A320

  • @tinyman12323 Even on perfect days and manual landings, pilots like me rely on the ILS and G/S to make sure we stay perfectly in line with the runway and glide slope. All part of routine. The thinking is that, if it's provided as a nice navigational aid to the pilot, why not use it?

Either way, it is possible to get such nice landings with perfect weather. The only concern is floating down the runway... something "heavy" aircraft pilots like me have to worry about.

  • wat da hell i didn't realise that the plane already landed until i saw the flap like things come up!!!!!!

  • @777BACAPTAIN wanna hook an out of work pilot up with a job?

  • @uUltr19A05slaNn Why would you do ILS on a perfect day? Probably VFR

  • @Xexa250592 Don`t worry...and thanks for alert me about the ILS,as i said i saw it on a list of things to do,but...think about land an A320 or a 737 in bad weather on this airport...just for top pilots...this airport might be a transition between national and international routes for pilots, like a test...

  • You know, pilots don't have to use the reverse thrust on the engines. Still, nice landing, I didn't even think you hit the ground. Happy Landings!

  • @calvinair i've made a mistake on length of runway hahahaha

  • @Xexa250592 ook...i`ve made a mistake,at the moment santos dumont doesn`t have ILS cat 2,i was thiking this because i saw it on a list of things to do for the world cup and the olympics,so...not yet,but the main and longer runway has 1323 meters and the other has 1260,if you want to check go to infraero`s website or wikipedia

  • @calvinair Santos Dumont no have CAT 2 and ILS, this airport is full visual and rwy with 1900 meters ook?

  • LOL,the autopilot can just follow the ILS.The pilot doesn't do shit anymore except tell the autopilot what to do and sit there hoping it'll fail so he can actually do something for once.

  • It's not silent in anyway...i'be had muchh better landings! The best was on a Jet2.com B757-200 at Crete, Heraklion! I didnt even realised we had landed until the speed brakes were applied and reverse thrust was in place!

  • well.... it's not the best xD
