  • Nice job, great box, heat sinks on the regulators would be nice if you expect to put any kind of load on it.

    But it sounds like it's still work in process...

  • Yep, havent quite got it figured out yet, have heatsinks out of a broken amiga power supply that will go on teh LM350s. need to figure out why i get massive voltage drop under any kind of load.

  • There are a couple of FAQ's on converting a switching pc power supply to a bench supply.

    Do you need to add a big resistor to preload the suppy to stabelize the voltage.

    I never built one but read about it, I am spoiled to have a few Heathkit supplies.
