This video is a demonstration by Karen Sperling of one of Corel Painter's cloning brushes, the xScale 2P variant, used for adding image elements to either photos or paintings.
The images shown are from the November 2009 issue of Artistry Tips and Tricks and from Painting for Photographers, where you'll find the complete steps for creating the paintings seen in the video.
Artistry Tips and Tricks and Painting for Photographers are available at http://artistrymag.com/.

  • Option on Mac and alt on Windows are keys on your keyboard based on the operating system you're using. So if you're on Macintosh and are told to press option and then do something, you press it on your keyboard.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the compliment-glad you like my work!

I'm working on my first full DVD with video tutorials and plan to post samples here on Youtube, so please subscribe to catch the updates!
