Treatment of sulphur in the well water. I use this system since more than 1 year. I've developed this with research on the internet. No water treatment companies could help me. An low PH, the presence of carbonic gaz and sulphur to +/-10 mg/l if your water is not garbled, therefore a low rate of minerals (iron, hardness, etc.). This system requires no filtration media. No maintenance fees. I use chlorine (optional) injected into the 2nd tank to finish processing. Very few chlorine is necessary and avoid having to remove it on tap. I don't drink water from my well. I just wanted to make this water can be used for laundry, children bath and the shower. Sulphur is very unpleasant and very corrosive. Yes can avoid placing outside vent close to an air conditioner to avoid corrosion in it. Good luck.

  • Since the installation there more than 2 years, I replaced two stones diffuser. I also added a float in the first tank because the float of tank No. 2 has failed two or three times and the first tank overflowed. With a float in each tank it is much safer. I also added a hose 5 / 8 "at the top of the first tank to the drain as overflow. Be sure to pipe up a little so that water remains in the pipe to prevent odors from the drain.

  • If you have any question, go ahead. This system make me verry happy after 2 years of smelling rotten eggs from well sulfur water. I have tryed 2 systems with media fitering system. The best one have been working for 3 months 600$ to change media. The worsth work not at all. this one was a air compressor injecting air in the tank. But the tank was a close tank with some pressur.
