Ali Milner is a contestant on CBC's "Cover Me Canada" and has requested covers of her own original work (seems fair given all the work she has done to record other people's work on the show!) . After listening through her album I really connected with this song and although I don't have the beautiful jazzy tone Ali has, I put a little "Tyler" into it.

This song was written with a clear, strong message. At the time, both Sherry and I were going through break ups and discussing relationships, boyfriends and how people can compromise themselves too much. I like to think that I'm a strong girl and Sherry is an incredibly strong woman. We both agreed: you can't change this girl! (Tyler: You can't change me either, girl)
