Cities XL 2011 - Traffic woes

Simple (aka boring) 3 minute video of a traffic jam in Cities XL 2011. I was following around some vehicle in my city over the bridge to see what lay on the other side only to be confronted with a huge long traffic jam.

This is primarily a problem because traffic lights are never synced in CXL as well as the original designers (Monte Cristo) strange obsession with treating each lane of traffic going in the same direction as a different lane of traffic. What I mean by that is that the left lane of the northbound traffic goes for a short bit, then the middle land of the northbound traffic goes for a bit and then the right land of the northbound traffic gets to go, so it's basically like 3 lights of traffic for the northbound traffic instead of all three lanes going at one time. My guess on this is that MonteCristo could not control traffic well enough, so it looked bad when all three northbound lanes would make a left turn at an intersection and run all over each other, so they broke it down into individual lanes that go one by one. Still the 2011 version of the game is great fun.

I think you might be hard pressed to find it in a physical store now, but that's not to say you can't... Just might be difficult.

You can't drive, you just follow along in the vehicles. When they disappear (like they do in SC4), then you pop out of them. But you can't steer them or drive them.
