In this video, I show you all on how you can Jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad on the final iOS 5 (5.0) firmware that was released on October 12th, 2011. In this tutorial, you will be using RedSn0w 0.9.9b5. Remember, this Jailbreak is NOT untethered, it is a tethered Jailbreak.

DFU MODE:
1. Plug in device
2. Turn it off
3. Hold down Power Button for 3 seconds
4. Without letting go of Power Button, start to hold Home Button (hold both down for 7 seconds)
5. Let go if Power Button and keep pressing Home Button
6. If screen is still black, you did it correctly!

BOOT TETHERED:
Because this is a Tethered Jailbreak, anytime you turn off your device, you must use RedSn0w to boot it back up. Follow these steps to do so.
1. Plug in your device
2. Open RedSn0w
3. Click "Extras"
4. Click "Just Boot"
5. Put your device into DFU mode
6. If you did all of this right, RedSn0w will boot your device!

CYDIA WHITE ICON:
If your Cydia icon is white after the Jailbreak, then follow these steps to get Cydia working.
1. Plug in your device
2. Open RedSn0w
3. Click "Extras"
4. Click "Just Boot"
5. Put your device into DFU mode
6. If you did this right, when your device boots, Cydia should work fine!
