Professor John W. Kindt Press Conference On Issue 3 (Part 2)

Nationally acclaimed academic Dr. John W. Kindt warned Ohio that passage of Issue 3 would lead to increased crime, bankruptcies and homelessness and said supporters claims that it will boost Ohios economy are bogus.

And Kindt has the academic studies to prove it.

The University of Illinois professor is a contributing author and editor of the three-volume United States International Gambling Report and he took special aim at the Ohio Fraternal Order of Police for appearing in TV ads to tout Issue 3s benefits.

Gambling itself is probably the biggest producer of money for the American La Cosa Nostra (that) there is, Kindt said, quoting from one of the studies in the Report. For the FOP to ignore the mountain of evidence that casinos cause crime is astonishing.

Kindt, who attended a news conference at ProgressOhio, came equipped with the massive Gambling Report and said it contains all of the evidence Ohio voters need to convince them that the NO vote is the right vote on Issue 3.
