2003 Dodge Ram 5.9 360 Glasspack Cherry Bomb

First is the exhaust the truck came with, second is the cherry bomb.

I like deep the exhaust tone of the cherry bomb compared to the muffler that the truck came with.

glasspack are good cuz u can gutt the insides easily nd weld it back up for true straight through exhaust. cherrybomb all the way!

@NITROMopar73 Why would you buy a muffler to gut it? Why not just put a piece of straight pipe in and save yourself some time and money?

@ryesram because open header increase horsepower. backpressure increases torque. learn something.

@kowal789 i have had a bunch of vehicles with just exhaust pipe , hood stacks , cherrybombs , stacks , it dont make a difference , the vehicle works the same , same fuel mileage , and its not hard on the vehicle , i hear people tell me that its bad for a vehicle , but there just idiots who read online forums to get their information , ive actually done it and it and my vehicle works the same , if not better because their is less exhaust restriction

@rstanek11 i was told by several mechanics that having a gutted muffler or straight pipe means there is no back pressure when the vehicle is running. this is hard on the motor and may cause a little less power. hope i helped.

@ryesram There's 2 sensors on the pipe. one in front of the cat and one behind. Good luck,
