I dont believe Australia played badly and in fact should and could have done more on offense,many times perhaps fearful of counter attacks they hurried shots when they could have played it better. I remember this game well

Doing well in the Confederations Cup means next to nothing as the USA found out in 2010 World Cup, knocked out by Ghana. Concerning Australia, Brazilians, Germans and who ever else wants to laugh at our team should know that if Football(Soccer) was our number one sport and it was a traditional sport we would be World Champions many times. There are 4 types of football in australia 1.Australian rules 2. Rugby League 3. Rugby Union 4. Soccer(Football) in that order of importance.
