You the know the lyrics and imagery is crazy, I agree the original pray has a weak beat and this is super dope
But that album was NOT wack at all
On lyricism alone, it should get credit
Best beats were Sweet, Ignorant shit, American Dreamin, Success, Party Life

obviously this sounds sick...and i listen to this a lot, but the original had it's own purpose...to introduce the album, with the feel of a Gangster film.
So with the 'gangster' beat, and Jay-Z's lyrics...it served its purpose beautifully.
But this song stands on its own, since its incredible.
(So, i can't lie and say this is better or worse than the original).

Yeah, this is not a offiacial remix.
But this comes to show that jay went real wrong on that american gangster album. He should have let 9th let do all of the production. The real american gangster album is just crazy wack. 808 is soo worn out. LETS GET BACK TO THE FUCKING ROOTS PEOPLE!
