This is the lowdown on local food, featuring the Reading Terminal Market at 12th and Arch Streets in Philadelphia. There are many vendors at the Reading Terminal Market who offer locally grown food, such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, artesian cheeses, and pasture-raised meats. You can also find raw honey, delicious breads and pastries, and a variety of local wines. While an assortment of canned and packaged goods provides a year round food supply. The Market is open all week, from 8am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 9-5 on Sundays. Local musicians provide entertainment at various times throughout the week. And discounted parking is available in the 12th & Filbert Street garage. For more information, go to ReadingTerminalMarket.org or call 215-922-2317. Support our local farmers. Buy local food.
