HYPER EDITION-Soukyugurentai / Terra Diver(JUET 960821 V1.000) [SEGA STV(st-v) HARDWARE](1996)[Raizing / Eighting][MAME]

HYPER EDITION is a series a videos showing CPU Overclocking of game boards, and making them play faster than originally intended while maintaining perfect audio.

Video of me over clocking the SEGA ST-V board and turning up how fast the game runs.

CPU OverClocked to 400%
Screen Refresh Rate 93.130

Game information/Technical Specs can be found here

http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/romset/sokyugrt

Shooter / Flying Vertical (hof)

ALL GAMES ARE RECORDED IN THERE NATIVE RESOLUTIONS.

(about 5% of the right screen is missing this is probably due to faulty driver writing only happens when recording but only with this game as far as I know. this game is emulated glitchy right now anyway) you may also notice that im getting a better frame rate than my other vids due to a new technique that makes them always come out 100% no matter how laggy the game runs.

  • @indydaisy, They are excellent with excellent games.

also the qaulity of the games are much better than the sega saturn versions. because of the titans larger work ram and cart based games. Also this video shows emulation footage due to my lack or hardware atm the real deal looks much better

  • Holy Crap Stevacus be on youtube.

    Hey, Stevacus!

  • So, as of 2012 what's the best version of MAME for this?

    (Mame32k, mamePLUS!, original mame, etc.)

Did you overclock to mitigate the slowdown of poor emulation or does the game run decent save for a few graphical glitches I saw here and there....?

  • now this is sega forget sega genesis STV For the win man

  • Nice one mate, im just baout to buy a st-v mb with a multibios have you tried one before?
