How do they catapult the spores evenly on the underside of the fern leaf. Im looking for a video with the complete process

Actually the fern gametophyte germinates from the spore and if an egg on the gametophyte is fertilized the zygote will grow into a new fern (sporophyte)

So ferns grow from spores and not seeds?
