Reading Royals Roll Elmira Jackals Car before Playoff Opener

Royals fans rolled the "Jackalmobile" before the home playoff opener in Reading on 4/12/08. This was the same car driven by Gordon Kaye during the "chuck a puck" a week before. Fans paid to take a whack at the junk vehicle adorned with Reading Fan favorite names like Littlejohn, Johnson, and Watson. Proceeds went to charitable causes.

Reading scored 3 unanswered goals in the third period and won on a short-handed goal in overtime to beat Elmira 5-4 and even the series.
