I have an old version of APE (1.0) so I don't know about APE 7, but ELP renders files as AVI files which I can then import into APE

Looks an old sci-fi movie COOL how did you make the space-ship interior

Everything was shot in front of a green screen. I used miniature sets made out of cardboard for all the interiors.

OH GREAT very nice job i was trying to made a good green screen but i only painted green a bit my backyard wall and for the editing i use wax 2.0 and WMM and the chroma key with this tip dont work very well any suggestion will be ok,thanks

Try using a green sheet. The two most important things are keeping your object/actors at least 6-8 feet from the green screen and making sure you use plenty of back light behind you object/actors. Take a look at my green screen tutorial video and you can see how I did it in this movie.
