Yes, Ssireum 競種 is very different from the Shuai-jiao 摔跤, the wrestling style in Beijing 北京, Tianjin 天津 and Northern Hebei 河北, but quite similar to wrestling styles in Southwestern China, e.g. Miao 苗, Yi 彝, etc.
