@jack9598 several little towns - town of Kinzua was about 4 miles upriver. Tore down my grandmother's house before the valley was flooded. We built a deck and a shed out of the 2 1/4" cherry flooring from her house.
I was in the High School band that play at the dedication.

Yep, was a town up river. Still see roads going into the lake, blacktopped. When they drop water over winter there's often foundations and such exposed near the northern ends of the lake. Had to move not only Indians but also Indian burial grounds to put in the dam.

I am from Pittsburgh and my father loved to take us to see dams like this, I believe we took a tour down inside of it. This is a power dam I believe.

mamasquirley I have lived in bradford since I was 14 and i am now 62, I love it here, I own my own property and my family keeps telling me I should move, but I dont think I ever will, I have moved from here fiur times but I keep coming back, I have lived in eight different towns and there is nothing like bradfor
