@belmar00 there is a pain management regiment of physical therapy (stretches the muscles) and deep breathing, biofeedback, imagery closing ur eyes while deep breathing and imagining being somewhere else, somewhere pleasant and peaceful, getting your endorphins (natural painkillers from the brain) to kick in, besides using narcotics....

@tyronebrown75 I know ur post is old but just incase it helps i had that too. Just make sure its dressed every 3 to 2 days in the hospital and keep it dry and antiseptic 24/7. elevate ur legs when u sleep and use a warm water bag on ur legs when u can. It would go after a while but it takes a long time.

i was born with the same thing .. (im not lying like some of you..)
And the doctors and nures dont make it any better, all they do is drug me up with morphine and other narcodics until im to sleepy and drowzy to think about how much pain im going through..they do that every 3 or 4 hours around the clock ... SOME PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW BAD THIS CRAP HURTS!!!!!!

hello im reaching out to any one who can help me , i reside in the bronx , and have sickle cell , also with the sickle cell , i also have a rare condition , thats associated with sickle cell in which my feet break down from wounds, is affected by poor circulation , is there any information you can give me in regards to this condition , and where or how it can be treated....please help
