ATi is going to release a GPU that is twice as fast as the 9800GTX and neck-and-neck with the 9800 GX2. ATi planned to release the HD4870 which claims to be twice as fast as the 9800GTX. The Radeon HD4870 alone is quite neck-and-neck with the upcoming GeForce GTX 280 as tested. HIS is showing off their product which is not officially announced by ATi, the Radeon HD4870 X2, it features 2 real RV770 cores on a single PCB, which means it is double the performance of the original Radeon HD4870, and the core clock is pushed to a absurd speed of 900MHz, shadwer clock at 1600MHz and the memory clock at the speed of 2400MHz. Once again breaking the world record of nearly 3 tera-FLOPS and the bandwidth of 307.2 GB/s. It's going to really pwn the GeForce GTX 280's ass hard. This product is truly a monster. Also includes benchmarks and game tests against the Radeon HD4870, GeForce 9800GTX, GeForce 9800GX2, GeForce 9800GTX and GeForce GTX280.
