In Newburyport, there is a house owned by the town I believe called the Dalton House, which has it's own Candlepin Bowling alley in it's basement! It has 3 lanes, all of which have FOOT PEDAL reset buttons, and it's VERY old fashioned. I should try to become a member here so I can bowl like crazy. LOL

  • @AmberShomo My mom was the DJ for a party here back in 2009, and I helped her set everything up so I asked if I could go and look at the bowling alley. Unfortunately the alley is only open to club members.

  • @wolfsrain12395 How did you get into this location? Is it open to the public?

  • @BIGGREENLEAF1 - I bet they wouldnt be much more of antique "version" perse, just without any modern modifications like chain driven tubeboards, bottom finger releases and the ball and pinlifts running off the pit motor.

  • Now THIS is what I call candlpin bowling nostalgia. Great pics!

  • To bad that you couldn't get in to see the pinsetting machines, they must be quite the antique version of the Bowl-Mor machine.....
