The big questions aren't abut what's going on in the plot, but why people do the retarded shit they do. I don't think a plot that makes sense is too much to ask for, but I guess if you're too stupid to realize these problems are there, you wouldn't understand what people are complaining about. A little logic, that's all we ask for, just some sense of logic, maybe even a little bit of reason.

It's a weak movie made even weaker by the fact it's trying desperately to be intelligent and thought provoking. It has it's moments and delivers on big spectacle but the script is a complete mess.

plenty is explained in the movie plain and simple, do a little digging and you find answers, running in a line from the ship is a little on the dumb side, but in dire situations people dont always make the most logical choice, fight or flight

You mean age well. Good science fiction films make you ask questions about things outside of the film (morality, humanity, etc.) the questions we have about Prometheus are just about the plot making sense.

And why exactly do we need answers for ever god damned mystery presented in a film pray tell? I think it blows the mystery down the toilet, especially when you answer said mystery in a very lame fashion.
