Teddy is Artie's lover. All of that homophobic shit Artie is obsessed with is very telling. Even when he pranked George Takei by coming out of the closet, George kept saying he didn't believe it was a just prank, that there was some truth behind the confession. This secret could very well could also be part of the reason Artie wanted to commit suicide

I didn't say it's Howard's fault as to why Artie has issues. I was saying that a friend or good person wouldn't make fun of a drug addicts drug addiction, because the reason why they take drugs is because they are already weak individuals with personal problems.
