review: Ok, like many of you, I have been WAITING for this to come out, so here we go! We have high hopes riding on this, but does this match it or fall flat? The real answer, a little of both...

First the pluses, this is an extremely detailed avatar, that renders fast and has little lag. The HUD is easy to use and the chance to mod the avatar makes it a nice addition to most collections. The animations run smoothly most times and there is very little glitching with it.

Now for the downsides, as you can tell in the video, the wings suffer from alpha layer problems that makes them vanish against certain objects. The 'jump to fly' is nothing more then a super jump and nothing like the jump to fly option that the grendel's dragons have. The rocks that form when you dig under ground, do not vanish after time, so you have to remember to clean them up, which can be annoy if using this in an RP. Lastly here, and this is probably just me, I feel that the breath was just tacked on, it doesn't seems finished at all. I haven't even used it expect for this video.

There are a few touches that could have made this a 5 star avatar, one, make the flight a little smoother, it looks like I am just floating not flying when I move, and the jump to fly isn't as polished as it should be. The rocks should have a timer option, and also a better animation for when you pop back out of the ground would have made this much better.

All in all a nice addition to a collector's stash if you have the lindens. A few polish ups would be nice, but this would be a fun avatar to play around with.


For those of you still reading down here, wow! Sorry it has been so long, problems with time and money made it very hard for me to get any avatars to review. In the future I hope to have the time/money to review two new feral fox avatars that are coming out soon from two major companies on SL, maybe even a face off review!

great review! you've pointed out my major weakness in scripting (I am no scripter). I'm going to work on making the breath better, and I've had several suggestions about the popping up after you dig, I hadn't thought of that in time for the release.

the rocks are on temp rez, they take about 30 seconds to go away.

Ah cool, I did see later the rocks did vanish but it seems in areas where lag or 'rezzing' issues are they can get a bit stuck XD.

Also wish to note that the flight animation shown here was 'glitchy' after a few re logs and playing later with a friend, the animations became better for the flight.
