  • Neat. I would like to see how much gamma relaxation of the decay chain products of your Radium buttons you could detect.

  • @10mintwo Well the WW2 marker discs peg the top scale of the Ludlum as it only reads upto 200USv/hr. As you know scintillators are best suited to measuring very low levels of radiation. The correct scale for the model 3 with 44-3 (202-570) would only measure 50USv/hr at top of x100 scale!! and this is with reference to Iodine125. Difficult to find a low enough background count to make the lower scales work - the background levels would peg the meter on x0.1 and 1 !!!

  • Ohhh ... What a wonderful instrumen!. I want to take and sell a kidney for it))) ... Probe 44-3 is perfect. I just need this device for low gamma radiation for walking on cemetery of rad. waste

  • Ну Вы приравняли, бытовой дозиметр за 100$ и профессиональный намного дороже этого. И еще для полного измерения ТЕРЕ нада хотя б 20с.

  • You callibrate Ludlum wrong - terra-p good dosemetr but 44-3 super SENSETIVE
