We ran our 68 Camaro called Bad Penny at the Goodguys Costa Mesa autocross March 09. Still needed an alignment and some front parts, but she managed to win the Editor's Challenge event. Also had a brake issue that is now fixed. Tires are Kumho XS in 275 front and 335 rear - 180 treadwear.
Did you see the front tires lock at 0:59 while the back tires kept rolling along? This demonstrates how auto designers were forced to program the proportioning valve - not unlike the camber deflections a car's frontend exhibits in turns: Both equal UNDERSTEER. Solution? Either install an adjustable PV, or limit the travel of your stock PVs pin to about 1/4 of its travel. FINAL TEST: you'll know when your PV is balanced properly when all 4 tires lock as you hit the brakes on a gravel road
